James Walter Cresmer's Obituary
James Walter Cresmer Jr., age 86 of Lewes, DE, passed away on Wednesday July 3, 2019, at Seaford Center-Genesis, in Seaford, DE. He was born on April 29, 1933 in West Chester, PA, son of the late James Walter, Sr. and Anna Marie (Grief) Cresmer. He was also predeceased by his siblings Marie and Norman.
Mr. Cresmer was self employed for many years as a fence, pool, and landscape installer, as well as a builder of homes. Most recently, in the Lewes area, he was a paper delivery driver for the News Journal. He was also an Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his sons: Allen Scott Cresmer of Wagontown, PA., James Edward Cresmer of West Chester, PA, and Joel Cresmer; his grandson, Brandon Cresmer of Chambersburg, PA; and his former spouse, Nancy Rodgers of West Chester, PA.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Committal services with military honors will follow the services at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mr. Cresmer's memory to any charity of choice.
