James C. Pearson's Obituary
James C. Pearson, age 77, of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Beebe Healthcare, in Lewes, DE. He was born Monday, April 26, 1937 in Yonkers, NY, son of the late Robert and Eleanor (Weise) Pearson.
Mr. Pearson was a 1953 graduate of MIT, where his course of study was Mechanical Engineering. In 1955 he graduated with a Master's degree in Math from the New York University.
Mr. Pearson retired in 1969 from the US Army Reserves as a Captain. In 2001 he retired as a Munitions Engineer with the US Government Department of Defense.
Mr. Pearson was a lifelong health enthusiast, he enjoyed daily workouts, running, walking and daily visits to the health club.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by his son, Robert Pearson. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (MacLauren) Pearson; his daughter, Elizabeth Murphy and two grandsons, Ian and Declan Murphy.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 12 PM at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 20276 Bay Vista Road, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
