Calmest wrench turner ever. I never got to one of his Bible studies even though he personally invited me. He never got frustrated and talked me through a couple things I didn’t understand years ago.
Our interactions were years apart but always cordial. My oldest memory was attending Adelphi Church on Riggs Road across (from his home I later learned) and seeing his profile on the right side of the choir loft, He never changed, that was 1972. Cool Hand Jim.
Jim was the best father in law ever! My earliest memory goes back to Takoma Park and I was around 5 years old, I would pedal my bike one block up the street to get “free air” for my tires and “Mr Morgan” as I knew him then, would come out with his tire gauge to make sure me and my friends did not pop our tires! Kindness to whoever pull into the Texaco or he and Phyllis’s home, was his trademark. A will miss Jim, but will never forget the impact he made on my life. Joe
I have many memories of Jim!
We worked together on several projects at our church! I remember fun times with him and the Morgan family on church campouts!
I miss all the times when we would stop and chat together whenever we met!
Looking forward to new chats when we meet together in the Kingdom!!!!
