James Craig Hollenbeck's Obituary
James Craig Hollenbeck, age 35, of Lewes, DE affectionately known to some as Jamers, Jimmy and Worm, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015, at his residence. He was born Monday, February 11, 1980 in Wynnewood, PA, son of Donald Craig Hollenbeck and Jessica (Douthwaite) Collins.
James was a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, MA where he earned his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. He lived and worked in Boston with his wife Trisha for many years prior to relocating to Sussex County in 2010. After arriving in Sussex County, James joined the family business, Craig Technologies, as a Tooling Engineer. He would design and build the tool and die parts for the company molding and compression machines.
James was an avid Volleyball player and loved going to the courts in Rehoboth Beach to play on weekends. He also enjoyed playing a round of golf with family and friends and snowboarding during the winter months. James also cherished his two Coton De Tulears, Leo and Fiona.
In addition to his parents, James is survived by two sisters, Alison Hollenbeck; Emily Ginion and her husband Jerry; two step-brothers, Josh and Brendan Collins; nieces and nephews, Peter and Brooke Onuschak; Charley Ginion; Taylor, Josh and Avery Collins; his wife, Trisha Hollenbeck; a step-mother, Laurel Hollenbeck and step father, Michael Collins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015, at 3 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be private.
