James L. Goff's Obituary
James L. Goff of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, passed away on December 29th 2010 at the age of 60. He died in his home surrounded by his family and friends. He is survived by his sister Eva Dague of Moundsville, WV; his nephew Scott Dague of Moundsville, WV; his niece Christie Jo Rayl of Shadyside, OH; and his many friends from all over the country.
Jim was an avid off-roader and committed Jeep fan who traveled all over the country to participate in Jeep Jamborees. He worked for 30 years at the U.S. Department of Agriculture and retired in the winter of 2008. Jim loved the beach and was a long time visitor and part time resident of Rehoboth before moving there full-time after he retired. Jim travelled extensively and enjoyed his time in Australia more than any other place he visited.
Jim grew up on Fish Creek in Marshall County, WV near Moundsville. He was a graduate of Moundsville High School and West Virginia University. He was preceded in death by his parents John J. and Olivia M. Goff.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the All Souls Memorial Episcopal Church in Washington, DC. A small reception will be held at the church immediately following the service. Please check the church website for information on public transportation options and parking limitations.
