Missing you so much dad ...😢💋
This man was the most amazing grandfather i could have ever wished for and i am so sad that he is gone.... till this day i cry daily thinkig about him.... the holidays are hard and i wish he could be here for wwhen i get married my birthdays and holidays rip granddude i loce u sm
We first met James as our son's t-ball coach at Rehoboth Little League, and I remember well how he made sure everyone had fun, got to play, maybe learn a little about the game - and them get a great snack! Exactly what you hope for in a coach for your t-ball-aged kids. We continued to cross paths in Rehoboth for many years, and I remember well getting more than one bottle of water as he made his rounds. My last, great memory of "taxi" was when he was running a lock-out service, and he got the call to help one of my family. He was there in minutes, so nice and kind, and of course, wouldn't take a cent. So few like him, so happy to have know him.
Ive known James for many many years; Ive known him as Baretta up in New Castle, my heart just fell when I learn from his passing. I like to take a moment to his family, sorry for your lost. This rose candle will shine on forever, and so will my memories of him. Kat
So sorry for your loss,my condolences to you Miss Terry, and the children, will miss seeing him and hearing him say, well hello there miss Mary,at Bakers Exxon.stay strong.
I did not know Taxi personally, however, I did listen to him on the radio many times - R.I.P. Taxi, you will be missed
Dear Terry and family, You are in my thoughts and prayers. With Sympathy, Marti Wyatt
Taxi was a character - and one of the good guys. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He was the first to promote all the best things about Rehoboth Beach - and Lewes. Taxi was there for everyone - whether it was unlocking a locked car door, or helping to raise someone's spirits, or just with a kind word - he's the embodiment of what we all should strive for in our lives. Love and kindness and he's passed that on to his kids and future generations. My condolences to his family and friends. As Billy Joel said it - "only the good die young."
I'm very sorry to hear of Taxi's passing. Whenever we ran into each other we always had some great conversations. My thoughts and prayers go out to Taxi and his family.
