I have had the pleasure of knowing both Mike and Blanch for over a year. I am the Eucharist Minister that brought both of them Communion on Sunday's. Mike was always in good humor and was eager to share his memories and his travels with me. He will be missed.
I so appreciated having Mike as a neighbor. He had the greatest book suggestions and was always generous with his literary loans. I enjoyed his mind and his sharp wit every single time I had the pleasure of getting together with him, often with pizza and wine. "Mike" and Blanche have been our next-door neighbors here in Rehoboth since we moved here. They were among our first friends here at the beach. An evening with Blanche, Mike (and his scotch on the rocks) was never without laughter. Mike loved to gently tease everyone, including Blanche. His love for her, for his beautiful cars and for life itself was an inspiration to everyone. He will be so very missed.
