Jacqueline Lee Eagan's Obituary
Jacqueline Lee Eagan, age 78, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away Sunday, August 27 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born June 10, 1928 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late William F. and Frances J. (Keliher) Cornwell.
Mrs. Eagan owned and operated "Mr. Eagan's" restaurant in DuPont Circle, Washington, DC, for 32 years. She retired to the beach in 1999. She loved gardening.
Mrs. Eagan is survived by her husband of 36 years, James Gerald Eagan; two sons, Michael Gorman of Ohio and Elbert Harden of Maryland; and one grandson, Sean Harden.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 31, 10 AM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Meals On Wheels, 32409 Lewes-Georgetown Hwy., Lewes, DE 19958.
