Bob and I practiced law together in Georgetown many years ago. As a Wake Forrest graduate, he enjoyed poking fun at my Duke roots. He was a fine lawyer and gentleman. He cared about his clients and had the respect of the Bar. Serving in harms way in Vietnam, he completed his mission under difficult circumstances. Although having athletic, academic ,and professional accomplishments to brag about, that was simply not Bob's way. It was a privilege to know him and condolences to his family.
