Darlene and family - I had not seen Darrell for years so it was a shock to see he had gone before us. Any of my classmates who are still around will never forget the time Darrell accompanied us with guitar for our 8th grade Christmas “performance”. Any time I hear “Hang on Sloopy” he comes to mind. RIP

Darrell I know adored his wife, Heidi, and his daughters and grandchildren. Praying for the Lord Jesus to comfort them in the way only He can. It was a privilege to know him and all my memories are treasures indeed. Love to Heidi...his true love and best friend. ❤️❤️
So sad to have read that Darrell has passed away. I've known Darrell since the ol' marina days in Dewey Beach. He was a great help as a Cape Henlopen Music Booster. My most sincere condolences to Darrell's family and friends. Heaven gained another good one.

I never got to personally met Darrell I was never able to attend the family reunions. He was my mother’s cousin. I have enjoyed seeing his pictures and staying in touch through facebook
