Isis Khymani Venters' Obituary
Isis Khymani Venters, age 17 of Lancaster, PA passed away on Saturday May 21, 2022. She was born in Silver Spring, MD, on April 6, 2005, daughter of Chanel Venters and Jahod Hill.
Isis attended McCaskey East High School and was set to graduate in 2023. She worked in retail (recently Forever 21) and food services (ending at Qdoba). Isis was excited to take college courses while preparing to graduate next year. She had been attending Nursing classes at school and was considering both the Medical and Cosmetology field after she graduated. She was also looking forward to joining the cheerleading team next year and had previously been a member of the track team at her last school.
With so many interests, one of her favorite things to do was sing. Her voice was like a rare songbird, so beautiful and peaceful. Dancing was another talent that she did well, and she was the life of the party.
Anyone that knew Isis knew that she was a very dependable and fun-loving person. She was outgoing, loved traveling, and eating and discovering new foods.
Above all, Isis was a loving daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, and friend. She spread love everywhere she went and made an impact on almost everyone she interacted with. One thing for sure ~ she was loved by many and will be truly missed.
Lastly, she loved her family and was always there when you needed her. She was the light of everyone’s life.
Isis is survived by her mother, Chanel Venters; her father, Jahod Hill; her sisters: Kai Venters, Nova Hill, and Nairobi; her brother, Michael Venters "Mikey"; her grandmother, Darlene Brown; her grandfather, Vincent Sherard; her bonus grandmother, Devonne Lindsey; her great-grandmother, Brenda Short; her great-great grandmother, Levy Mason; her aunts: Raven Brown, Mecca Hill, Toni Sweet, and Samiyyah Hill; and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly.
