I saw this today from surfing the net here at home in Massachusetts. I am glad Iris went peacefully. I so miss her friendship during my years in Delaware. Her assistance to me as my # 1 tutor for English and encouraging voice for Academic Pursuits was invaluable to me. Love to you and hope you enjoy the wonderful memories she has left.

Iris possessed a grace that seems increasingly uncommon in today's world, and a spark that could light a room in an instant. I am glad to have known her, and will miss her. The many lives she touched, including mine, are the better for it.
