Ingaborg Fisher's Obituary
Ingeborg Fisher (nee Pieper) was reunited with her husband, Thomas, on January 11, 2021. She was born in Bremerhaven, Germany, where she was raised and where she met and married her husband Tom. Inge followed him to America, and they settled in West Babylon, Long Island, where they worked and raised their family.
Inge worked as an Assembler in a plant that made parts for the military, ultimately worked her way up to become the Supervisor of her department. Upon retirement, she and Tom moved to Whiting, NJ. Several years ago, Inge made her final move to Lewes, DE, where she spent her remaining years living with her daughter Janet.
Inge is predeceased by Tom, her husband of 47 years with whom she will be laid to rest. She is survived by her three daughters: Janet Fisher, Dorothy Sharpe (Bill, deceased), Christine Fisher (Debbie, Inge’s “4th daughter”); 3 grandchildren: Alison Temple (Jason), Lauren DelliCarpini, and TJ Smith (Sara); and 5 great-grandchildren: Caleb Temple, Kyle Temple, Elijah Eriksen, W. Brody DelliCarpini, and Arya Smith. Inge was greatly loved by family and friends and will be missed by all.
Due to COVID, a family memorial service is planned this Spring, to be held in the chapel of the Brigadier General Wm C Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd in Wrightsville, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a Mental Health organization of your choice.
