Howard A. Jacobsen's Obituary
Howard A. Jacobsen, age 80, of Lewes, DE passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at the Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford, DE. He was born on February 15, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Edwin Howard Jacobsen and Dorothea (Knoeppel) Jacobsen.
Mr. Jacobsen owned a successful sheet metal business with his brother, Edwin Jacobsen, in Brooklyn, NY. In 2015, Mr. Jacobsen and his wife Gina Marie moved to Lewes where they enjoyed retirement.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jacobsen is preceded in death by two brothers: Edwin and William Jacobsen. He is survived by his wife, Gina (Derespina) Jacobsen of Lewes, DE; one son, Howard Jacobsen and his wife Darlene Baldearena of San Antonio, TX; two daughters: Karen Jacobsen of San Diego, CA and Erika Jacobsen and her husband Mark Finnamore of San Diego, CA; two grandchildren: Brittney and her husband Johnnie Thompson and Bradley Jacobsen; and his sister in law, Wendy Jacobsen of Brooklyn, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Jacobsen's name to the City of Hope, Southern California, to Fight Cancer and Diabetes, by visiting www.cityofhope.org/giving/donate
