Henry William Parker Sr.'s Obituary
Henry William Parker, Sr. age 88, of Greenwood, DE passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 2, 2020. He was born Friday, April 22, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Charles Joseph Parker and Marion (Collins) Crock.
Mr. Parker proudly served in the United States Coast Guard for 42 years. He was the Chief Lineman at Public Service Electric and Gas for 36 years, from which he retired in 1991. In his spare time, Mr. Parker enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and dancing but above all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was also a member of the Greenwood Cheer Center.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Jane Margaret Parker; his brother, Charles Parker; his son, Henry William Parker, Jr.; and his son in law, Wadell Dockery. He is survived by his son, Kevin Parker, Sr. (Michelle); his daughter, Debra Dockery; his daughter in law, Aida Parker; his grandsons: Dell, Joshua, and Lincoln (Dominika) Dockery, and Kevin Parker, Jr.; his granddaughters: Morgan Carter (Drew), Amanda Petrosh (Adam), and Dominique Dockery; his great grandchildren: Lincoln Dockery, Joshua Diffenderfer, Myles Carter, Liam Petrosh, Pria Dockery, Elisha Dockery, Kaya Dockery, Logan Cameron, and Aislyn Petrosh; and his sisters: Dorothy Hare and Florence Becker (Jon).
