Helen V. Plummer, age 91, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Mrs. Plummer was born June 23, 1918 in Millington, MD, daughter of the late John and Mamie (Newnam) Lockwood. Read Obituary
My heart is heavy with sadness, I loved Miss Helen like a second mother. I will always remember her sweet smile and her contagious laugh. The stories and the recipes that she shared with me will remain with me for all of my life! I will truly miss her and continue to love her forever.
She will be missed greatly by many.
Dear Helen was always a sweet,wonderful, and considerate lady. Our family has many great memories of her. She was a happy person and joined in the fun at whatever moment we were in at the time. Aunt Helen was a beautiful and gracious lady.We didn't get to visit often but I will never forget the summer that Joyce Kay and I spent a week with Aunt Helen and Uncle George. They were special people and I loved them very much.My deepest sympathies and heart felt condolences to Georgie and his Family. Aunt Helen was a gentle Spirit and a bright point of light and I know that she will be sorely missed.May she rest in peace with her beloved husband.

The picture of Aunt Helen is exactly how I remember her. I will always cherish my memories of Aunt Helen and Uncle George - what a fun couple they were! I remember stopping by the shop on our annual Labor Day weekend trip to Ocean City, and Aunt Helen would be there making lunch for Uncle George and "Georgie." Now Aunt Helen and Uncle George are together forever.
