Helen Joyce McMann's Obituary
Helen Joyce McMann, age 76, of Harbeson, DE passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. She was born on October 20, 1945, in Lyndhurst, NJ, daughter of the late Russell Socienski and Rose S. Socienski.
Helen built a lifelong career working for PSE&G, retiring after 40 dedicated years, and relocating to Harbeson, DE. She was a loyal parishioner of St. Jude Parish in Lewes, DE, and a member of the Rosary and Adoration Society.
Helen had many and varied interests and hobbies. She loved cooking for her family and friends and was known for making the best eggplant parmigiana along with her Italian knot cookies. Helen had a heart of gold and always went above and beyond in everything she did. Above all else, she was an incredible wife, mother, and grandmother. To know her was to love her. Helen led with her heart on all matters, even when it was not easy. There was always a seat at her table for anyone who needed a warm meal and a little love. The impact she has had on the lives of her children, grandchildren and all those who were lucky enough to have known her is immeasurable. Loved by many, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert McMann; her son Robert McMann, Jr (Maria); her daughter, Kristen Rose Marie; her grandchildren: Robbie and Caity; and her brother, Alan Socienski (Mary Ann).
