Helen Mae Lari's Obituary
Helen Mae Lari, age 76, of Long Neck, DE, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE. She was born February 27, 1930 in New York City, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Elizabeth (Svetz) Weber.
Mrs. Lari enjoyed playing the slots and was an avid bingo player. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George Lari; four daughters, Donna McGevna and her husband Kenneth of Yorktown Heights, NY, Christine Anne Moskowitz and her husband Steven of Yorktown Heights, NY, Kimberly Anne Hobbs and her husband J.R. of Princess Anne, MD, and Vickie Lari of Lewes, DE; one son, George Joseph Lari and his wife Heather of Portland, OR; ten grandchildren: Keith Michael McGevna and his fiancee Kate Sheppard, Sharon Elizabeth Moskowitz, Michael Aaron Moskowitz, Sean Martin, Tina Marie Lari, Joseph Stephen Lari, Virginia Helen Lari, Matthew John Yetter, Craig Alexander Yetter and Caitlyn Brianna Hobbs.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 11 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Deacon Paul Woofter of St. Jude The Apostle will be officiating. Interment will be at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to A. I. DuPont Hospital for Children, 1600 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19899.
