Helen Jane Grove's Obituary
Helen Jane Grove, age 88, of Seaford, Delaware, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026.
She was born on August 24, 1937, in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of the late Earl D. Lenhardt and Mary C. Webster. Helen spent most of her working life employed by the DuPont Company, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
Helen had a deep love for creativity and beauty. She enjoyed painting, making floral arrangements, crafting, and planting flowers and hostas each year. She also took great pleasure in food—especially desserts and donuts, which she always ate first.
She is survived by her three children: her son, Randy Grove (Tracy Thacker-Grove), and her daughters, Terri Karson and Shelly Fried (Paul Fried). She was a loving grandmother to Kasey Karson, Brandi Fried, Matthew Grove, Christopher Grove, and Dayton Grove, and a cherished great-grandmother to Korbin Karson, Journey Line, and Tanner Grove.
Helen will be remembered for her creativity, her love of family, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures.
