Sincerest sympathy to the Berg family. Earl and I have been friends of Helen and Jim for 45+ years and shared many memorable and fun times with them. We met them when we were neighbors in Woodmere in Newark. I had the pleasure of sharing several times in Cancun with Helen and the never forgetting experience of weathering out hurricane Wilma in Cancun with her and Pat Connor. She was a very gracious lady and friend that we will miss very much. Our love, prayers and sympathy to her family and those very close to her at this very sad time.

I was sad to hear of the passing of Helen, what a lovely and lively woman . I will miss seeing her at Pure Bliss Salon getting beautified!! She always looked GREAT!! I loved our talks during facials. I always enjoyed talking to Helen each time I would go to clean her pool. She was one of the kindest people and her and Jims marriage will continue to be an inspiration for me. I enjoyed spending time with her and am glad I was able to visit her after she moved to Cadbury. She had impeccable interior design skills and sure loved her cheerful colors and pink flamingos. I will miss her dearly and my thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Berg family.

Sad to hear of Helen’s passing, and quite shocked. We have many fond memories of time spent with Helen. We made our first flight outside the country because of Helen. We spent several years with Helen and Jim in various places around Cancun, and I think ate at every restaurant in the area, cheered Jim and Kelly to victory in an annual regatta over frozen drinks, created Senior Diaz Wrinkly Elbow Beer, took the party boat over to Isla Mujeres and shopped while the boys played scuba diver – and boy, that woman could shop! We also enjoyed vacations in Utah, Colorado and New England during ski season. Though Helen didn’t ski, she did make our time off the slops memorable. I hope the family finds comfort in the millions of memories I know they have of Helen.

Helen was 1st a bridge playing acquaintance, then a shopping buddy. Soon we were friends, and that led to our families sharing camping weekends, holiday and birthday celebrations . When they moved away due to Jim's job, we were long distance visitors. When they returned it was like they were never gone. Recently I realized she had become my heart-sister and I miss her already! From the day we met in 1984, Helen and I were "best buds". Talked on the phone every day and shopped til we dropped many times. We shared February anniversaries and she and Jim and Carl and I celebrated them all over - the best one was our 25th and their 35th in Las Vegas where we got walked down the aisle by "ELVIS" and renewed our vows. The last 10 years were filled by illness on both of our parts, so visiting became hard. We spent a great few days last Fall at her beautiful home in Lewes and I will treasure the memories, now that she has gone.
My sincere condolences to Jim, Fred, Chris, Tracey and the grandkids.
