Harry G. Smith's Obituary
Harry G. Smith, age 83, of Lewes, DE, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. He was born April 4, 1925 in New Castle, DE, son of the late John and Arvilla (Pulley) Smith.
Mr. Smith had a 40 year career at the General Motors Box Plant. He also had worked as a postal carrier in Wilmington for a number of years. He enjoyed traveling and was a member of the McDonald's Coffee Club in Lewes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Elsie Smith and his son Johnny Smith. He is survived by his wife of 11 years Duyen Smith; three step-daughters, Linda Fox, Jacque Corcoran and Joanne Haney; two step-sons John Kinsler, Jr. and Cliff Kinsler; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many god-children.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 21, 10:00 AM at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington, DE. Friends may call on Monday, October 20, 6 PM to 8 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes.
