Hannah Ann Parsons Hickman, age 93 of Millville, DE, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the early morning of March 10, 2021. She was merely days shy of her 94th birthday. Hannah was born at home on March 13, 1927 in Parsonsbur Read Obituary
Hannah was simply the nicest, most loving and generous person I've ever known. She and her family welcomed me as 'family' the moment I met them all at 14 years of age. My life changed then, from a life of only knowing New York City, to a life filled with memories of Bethany Beach. I met Hannah through her Fresh Air Fund daughter Valerie, and I am forever indebted and still taught by her extraordinary love and spirit.

I have such fond memories of Hannah. She was a dear person and always had a wonderful smile and kind words whenever I saw her. I know that Melba and many others are heartbroken at her passing.

When we moved to Ocean View, Hannah and her sister, Kitty, became "Aunts" to Dan, me, and our girls. We appreciated all of the love that they shared and also enjoyed the stories they told about the area that has become our home. Hannah was always fun to be around and she truly enjoyed the hugs that Dan gave. She was a fine lady who will be sorely missed.
We will fondly remember the many dinners we shared with Hannah, especially after my cousin Brice died. She was a great person, may her life be a blessing to everyone.
