I remember when we were Duck hunting on Black Hog Gut one morning and Halsey and some other folks were hunting further up the creek, we were showering each other with shot from time to time. A couple of days later I received a box in the mail from Halsey. Inside was a WW2 steel helmet with camo painted on it. There was also a note that said I should wear it next time we were hunting at the same time to protect my head. He had such a quick wit and never ending sense of humor. He will be missed by me every hunting season. Paul Townsend
