Went hiking this past Saturday & had to take s picture of this beautiful scene of flower peaking out of bench. I never knew Gus something drew me to take a picture. I guess I was hoping his loved ones see the picture & think of him.

My thoughts and prayers to you, Janet, and your family.
I was shocked to read in the Daily News, that you lost Gus.
I talked with him last spring before I left for Logan.
Gus was Sun City Hikers leader when I started hiking with the group 9 years ago.
We hiked stunning desert trails, hills and mountains. What fun we had over the years.
I was fortunate to know him.
My sympathy. Cindy Jaranson
I looked forward to my Saturday phone call from Gus, reminding me of my volunteer time at the Sun City Visitor Center. Gus had a great sense of humor and was so much fun to be around. He will be missed here in Sun City, AZ.

Gus made me a hiker !! He was never an easy task master but he never demanded anymore than he would do himself = he pushed himself to the limit always wanting to do more . He loved his Janet and prime rib.
