Greer Noreen Alcorn's Obituary
Greer Noreen Alcorn of Lewes, Delaware, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born on March 14, 1956, to the late John R. and Claudine M. (Bishop) Germer.
Greer worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 18 years at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, where she was deeply respected for her compassion and dedication to those in her care.
Her greatest joy was spending time at her beach house in Ocean City, Maryland, as well as at her home in Lewes, Delaware. Greer loved traveling to many destinations with her beloved husband, creating countless cherished memories together.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John “Laddy” Germer.
She is survived by her loving husband, John James Alcorn; her son, Jason Alcorn of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; and her brother, Jan R. Germer of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.
A celebration of Greer’s life will be held in Delaware in the spring of 2026.
