Grace R. Sundstrom, 93, of Lewes, DE, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. She was born on February 23, 1922, in Forest Hills, New York, daughter of the late Nelson W. and Ruth (Losch) Runnion. Grace and Read Obituary

How comforting to know that Almighty God has not only the power but the desire to reunite us with our loved ones by means of the resurrection hope Jesus spoke of in the Bible at John 5 : 21,28,29 when both sickness and death will be no more as promised in Revelation 21 : 3-5
I have known Grace for over 20 years...It was my pleasure to see her smiling face every week as she would come in to the beauty salon to get her hair done. The past 4 years I had the pleasure of doing Grace's hair and I really enjoyed the talks we would have. She will be sadly missed.

Pete and I were saddened to get the news of Grace's passing. For almost 20 years she was a special neighbor. She was always very willing to help take care of house plants when we traveled and was always ready for a conversation, especially about Lewes history. Grace had a keen mind and was always direct and to the point. She continued
to take courses at The Lifelong Learning Academy (U. of DE) well into her 90's. Her
desire to keep learning was a key to her long life. When she was able, she walked up and down 2nd Street and even ventured into the Canalfront Park. Grace will be missed by neighbors and especially missed by her family. She was very proud of her family and often spoke about them. She was a great role model of how to live a long and satisfying
life.
