Grace S. Price's Obituary
Grace Satterfield Price, 94 ,of Lewes, DE , passed away on Wednesday June 10, 2009 at Cadbury at Lewes. She was born on July 13, 1914, in Townsend, DE, daughter of the late Latimer Satterfield and Eva Alfree Satterfield.
Mrs. Price was a graduate of Beacom Business School and worked her early years with the Department of Welfare as a bookkeeper in Elkton, Maryland. She then married her husband of 45 years Julian C. Price who died in 1987. She was an avid bridge player, loved the beach, and most importantly a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her son-Jay Price & his wife Nancy of Manasquan, NJ, Daughter-Patricia P. Hocker & her husband Mark of Lewes, DE, Grandsons Jay Price, Bryan Price, Sean Price, all of Sea Girt, NJ grandson Keith Hocker and Granddaughter Paige Hocker of Lewes, DE, Great Grandson Aidan Price and Great granddaughters Grace Price, Ainsley Price and Samantha Price, all of Sea Girt, NJ.
Funeral Services will be held at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins- Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM. where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow the services at Epworth Methodist Cemetery, in Rehoboth Beach, DE. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Compassionate Care Hospice of the Delmarva Peninsula 31038 Country Gardens Blvd., Dagsboro, DE 19939.
