Grace Eleanor Mitchell's Obituary
Grace Eleanor (Robinson) Mitchell, age 79, of Georgetown, DE, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, March 2, 2009, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born June 28, 1929 in Millville, DE, daughter of the late Eddie and Lola (Marshall) Robinson.
Mrs. Mitchell was born and raised in Millville. She retired in 1989 as a Cafeteria Worker from the Indian River School District. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Mitchell (2001) and five siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa D. Graves and her husband Chuck of Georgetown; her son Robert Troy Mitchell and his wife Terri of Georgetown; three grandsons, Chip Graves and his wife Hillary, J.P. Mitchell and his wife Liz, and Zach Mitchell, all of Georgetown; and a brother, Robert N. Robinson of Battleground, WA.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, 307 N. Bedford Street, Georgetown; Pastor Donald Murray will be officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
