92 years! I hope every minute was filled with loving and being loved. That she laughed often and made others laugh too. That she reveled in the sunshine and made the best of rainy days. She leaves behind a family that will miss her but will carry on...that will be her legacy. Hoping that thoughts of your mom will soon bring more smiles to your face than tears to you eyes. Looking back on a lifelong friendship since meeting at First Lutheran Church of Throggs Neck. Gloria was one of six remaining Chatter Club girls, all but two presently in their 90s. She was the maid of honor at my 1946 wedding to Jerry. Lots of fun times shared over the years from hiking around the Bronx to Chatter Club get togethers once a month at each other's houses. Sweet memories now until we meet again. Rest in Peace dear friend.
