We had little in common other than being mutual grandmothers, and our times together were few. But I was always impressed by Gloria's many talents and her kindness to everyone. She was a beautiful lady!

Remembering the great times we had when all our family, Mom and Dad included, shared our time with Mike and Karen John and Gloria and me as we took out the Jeep and went to the Brew Thru in North Carolina and the fun we had on the ride home. Simply Crazy!

I will never forget our times shared as Navy families and best friends on Adak Island AK. An especially memorable occasion is when you, Gloria, and Jack hosted the " surprise going away " party for Linda and myself in April of 1971. The ruse was ...we were supposed to be going to see Tora Tora Tora at the base theater on Bearing Hill. Your funny little smile lit up the room when we walked in and were greeted by a dozen or more Navy couples who had parked their cars out back! Sneaky!
