Gloria C. Campbell's Obituary
Gloria C. Campbell, age 92 of Lewes, DE, passed on to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 27, 2019 at her home. She was born on January 1, 1927 in Lachine Que, Canada, daughter of the late Archibald Claude and Ivy Isabel (Wright) Whitmarsh.
Mrs. Campbell proudly served during World War II with the Royal Canadian Air Force. She cherished time spent with those she held dear. Mrs. Campbell was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her daughter, Janis Pond. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert T. Campbell of Lewes, DE; her sons: Thomas E. Campbell of Sandy, UT and Brian G. Campbell of Lewes, DE; her daughters: Brenda L. Belletto of Chesapeake, VA, Claudia Eyley of New Zealand, and Teresa C. Adams of Salt Lake City, UT; and her grandchildren: Danielle M. VanSoelen of Fayetteville, NC, Brianna L. VanSoelen of Fayetteville, NC, Kyle W. VanSoelen of Norfolk, VA, Hilary Campbell-Pavia of Salt Lake City, UT, Cayden Campbell of Sandy, UT, Jennifer T. Jensen of Salt Lake City, UT, Emily I. Bangerter of Fairbanks, AK, Rebecca J. Freestone of Gilbert, AZ, Benjamin H. Adams of Herriman, UT, Elizabeth C. Basinger of Oak Ridge, TN, Catherine R. Redd of Honolulu, HI, Brigid Grigg of Bali, and Lydia Gillman of Christ Church, NZ.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Lewes Presbyterian Church, 133 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mrs. Campbell's memory to the Lewes Presbyterian Church (Deacon Fund) at the address listed above.
