Gina Bradbury's Obituary
Gina Bradbury, 55, passed away peacefully at her residence in Lewes, DE on May 19, 2026. She was born on June 27, 1970 in Trenton, NJ, daughter of the late Frederick Degli-Umberti and Lyda Howell.
Gina grew up in Stratford, Virginia and attended Fort Hunt High School before beginning a successful career in marketing. Throughout her professional life, she worked for several companies, including HNTB Architecture, where she was respected for her creativity, professionalism, and ability to connect with others.
To know Gina was to love her. She was truly the life of the party — vibrant, personable, caring, selfless, and endlessly funny. She had a gift for bringing people together and making everyone feel welcome. Gina loved to cook and entertain family and friends, creating lasting memories around her table filled with laughter, stories, and love.
In addition to her accomplished marketing career, Gina was also an incredibly talented writer. She shared her voice and insight through freelance writing for the online publication WhoWhatWhy. Her creativity and thoughtful perspective touched many through her words.
Gina found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved gardening, spending time outdoors, and feeling the sand between her toes at Cape Henlopen State Park beach. Whether surrounded by nature, sharing a meal with loved ones, or making others laugh, Gina lived fully and loved deeply.
She will be remembered for her generous heart, her beautiful spirit, her quick wit, and the joy she brought into the lives of so many.
In addition to her parents, Gina is preceded in passing by her grandparents, Ivan and Helen, and her step father, Howard Howell. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Gary Bradbury; her children: Alex and Grace Bradbury; her step brother, John Howell; her three cats: Hammy, Triangle, and Remy; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss her.
