Geraldine B. Whitcomb's Obituary
Geraldine B. Whitcomb, age 89, of Lewes, DE passed away, after a short illness, on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Renaissance Healthcare, in Millsboro, DE. She was born Wednesday, May 18, 1927 in Lewes, DE, daughter of the late, Charles and Eva Plummer.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitcomb was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilbur S. Whitcomb, in 2003 and her son, Wilbur S. Whitcomb, Jr., in 1973. She is survived by her son, Gerald "Jerry" W. Whitcomb; her grandchildren: Stephanie M. Whitcomb, Daniel S. Whitcomb and Jeffrey D. Whitcomb; her great-granddaughter, Zoey L. Lake; her former daughter-in-law: Barbara Whitcomb; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Whitcomb's name to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or to the Lewes Fire Department, P.O. Box 225, Lewes, DE 19958.
