Georgia Ann Barth's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Georgia Ann Barth. Our Lord came to usher her home in the early morning hours of July 27, 2026,
Georgia was born on February 22, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio to John and Pauline Koleszar who have preceded her in death. She graduated from Cardinal Mooney High school and became a registered nurse graduating from Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. Georgia later continued her education by getting her master’s degree and became a nurse anesthetist.
Georgia met the love of her life, William (Bill) Barth at her best friend’s wedding. They were married on August 21, 1963, and were inseparable. Bill preceded her in death on August 24, 2023, after 62 years of marriage. They loved to sail the Chesapeake Bay and Sassafras River which they had done for many years. Georgia loved the sunsets on the bay and her career in the medical field.
Georgia will forever be missed by her family and leaves behind cousins Kim Korecki, Patricia Nuzzie, Rik Peake (Nanci) and Joseph Alexander (Linda) and many second cousins, as well as an Aunt, Josephine Peake, and her extended family, John and Claire Stecher, Teddi Collins, Carol Hale, and the gracious southern belle Carol Marx.
In keeping with Georgia’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Tunnels and Towers Foundation, Wounded Warriors or the Millville Volunteer Fire Company.
Many special thanks for the wonderful care and compassion given to Georgia by Dr. Bonnie L. Burnquist and staff as well as the Millville Volunteer Fire Company.
