Georgette Bernice Walton's Obituary
Georgette Bernice Walton, born in Upper Darby, PA on August 25, 1940 passed away peacefully at Christiana Hospital on Wednesday evening, July 30, 2008.
Georgette Walton, known as "Bonnie" by family and friends, was the wife of the late Richard Cushing Walton, Sr.
She cherished being with family and friends and deeply appreciated the special moments life offered and the occasional "delicious".
Bonnie was an active member of the Lutheran Church of our Savior, Rehoboth Beach, DE.
Bonnie is survived by her two sons; James C. Lledo and his wife, Elizabeth of Oxford, PA and Robert G. Lledo and his wife, Jane of Orange County, CA; two step-sons, Richard C. Walton, Jr. and his wife, Karen of Wilmington, DE, and Douglas Walton and his wife, Nancy of Middletown, DE; seven grandchildren; Ava, James IV, Jack, Sam, Jennifer, Laura, and Marianne; her sister, Thelma Beddow and her husband, Dave of Nashville, NC and their children, Denise, Thomas, David, and Karen.
A memorial service will be held at Parsell Funeral Home in Lewes on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Donald C. Schaefer will officiate. Committal services will follow at Delaware Veterans Cemetery South in Millsboro, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Lutheran Church of our Savior Building Fund, 7 Bay Vista Road, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971; or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.
