Scott was a blessing to all who knew him. I had the honor of working with him for many, many years at our Carroll County MD work location. He was a rare "Go To" man that kindly and willingly shared his immense knowledge with anyone that had a hard question that needed to be answered. Earlier this year I met up with Scott for lunch while in DE. Before I knew it he had paid for lunch. That was the Scott I knew. Always kind, thoughtful, and having the best sense of humor. Scott and I had a long conversation a few weeks ago. I did not realize he was that sick. He did not want anyone to know of his illness. He never complained . We had been friends over 20 years.We worked together during that time at Finksburg. You couldn’t find a better friend. He showed love for everyone. He was a strong Christian man. He will be missed. I had the great pleasure of meeting Scott while playing pickleball. It was always a ray of sunshine playing with him as his smile was constant. A kind patient man. Great e too soon.
Scott’s laugh always put me at ease when we shared the Pickleball court. I did not know Scott well, but I knew him well enough I could tell he was a very kind and loving man.
He will be missed by his Pickleball friends.
