Sending love and condolences to your entire family.
Sending love to you all in this extremely difficult time. GG was always so jovial and loving. Deny
GG was a pilot with my father, George Chambers, Jr., on the river. So I am writing for my father who always spoke of GG as one of the “Good Guys” piloting on the river. I’m sure Dad will be glad to see him now that he has “crossed the bar”!

My son contracted Hong Kong flu at 18 months. I was to stand one more midnight mate’s watch on pilot boat Philadelphia. GG Macintire was in my father-in-law’s store when my wife called, desperately asking her dad to close and come to the hospital. George immediately went aboard the boat, sent me ashore, and stood my watch so that I could be with my son. No one ever did more for me. Zero hesitation. I love GG Mac.
Patsy and family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Seems like he was in Lloyds just a few days ago.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. If I can do anything don't hesitate to ask.
