20 October 2018, Washington, D. C. " Best memories of my friend George E. Christopher " -- My first employment after graduating from law school was a position in the Government Contracts Department of Systems Consultants Inc. (later known as SYSCON Corp.) in Washington, D. C. George Christopher was the head of the Govt. Contracts Department and he had advertised a legal position opening in the Washington Post which I replied for. Within a short several days wait, George telephoned and offered me the position which I was pleased to accept. I got to know George as a friend and someone who I trusted and looked up to. George always made time to assist me in learning the legal field of Govt. Contracts. We worked together as a team and difficulties were always faced straight on and resolved professionally. George was an inspiration in my life and I had the highest regard and respect for him as an attorney and a gentleman.
George loved his family and his time with them. We never talked about retirement much, but we had a mutual friend who was the V.P. of finances at Syscon who retired and moved to Colorado. I knew that George had thoughts of moving away from D. C. upon retiring and he loved the ocean and being near the water. I Have fond memories of George and would welcome an opportunity to relate those experiences with any family member who would care to speak about them. Kindly, Warren E. Brown, Esq. Washington, D. C.
