The first time I saw my sister Jeanie was the day she was born. My mom was having Jeanie at home and my brother and I were told by the nurse to watch for the stork that was bringing the baby. We chased every bird that flew by. It was a beautiful warm day and we couldn't wait for the stork to get there. Then all of a sudden the nurse told us to come in too see our new baby sister. She was all red and crying her little lungs out. This is a day I will never forget. I loved helping my mother giving her baths. I was her shadow and watched over her as if she was mine alone. Jean I hope you know how you are loved. I know you are watching us from above. Rest in the hands of God my dear sister. Amen
