Gary the gentle giant man I will miss you. Its hard to believe your not here with us anymore but I know you're here in spirit. I will miss you coming over to the Carvel holding that cup of yours. You always brought good energy whenever you entered a room. The many of times we all should've been doing some work we would gather around my desk and have a few good laughs. Just you being around made me want to be a even better person. I wish i could've brought myself to come and see you but I couldn't because I want to remember you as you were. As the tears fall down my face and I want to thank your family for sharing just a beautiful soul with us. Gar Bear you have left an everlasting impression on my life and those around you. I truly truly will miss you my friend and that popcorn (LOL) you and Karen would make every holiday season. Fly high my friend fly high.

Gary was my team lead at NASA on the Flight Software Integration team. He was always a great mentor and someone I fondly remember and regret not keeping in touch with more over the years. He was kind, clever, supportive and a person I know that will be missed by all that knew him.
Since our team usually did checkouts in the shuttle simulators in the middle of the night, he coined the motto for our team ,
Laboramus dum dormitus". The Latin phrase translates to “we work while you sleep.” I look at that phrase each day on the frame picture on my office wall.
God speed Gary!

So many wonderful memories of holiday celebrations, meals & volunteering. Gary was a beautiful soul and he will be remembered with a smile, great admiration and a heart of gold. He lived with gusto and determination to give the best to his family and community. May we all continue the kindness he brought to this life. Sending love to his family and friends.
When I think of Gary, I remember his smile, his laugh, and how he always jumped in both feet for every fun activity going on, especially dressing up for the Christmas bar crawl! He will be forever remembered by all of those that were fortunate enough to be surrounded by his joyful spirit! ❤️
I will love you forever, Daddy.
