Gail Horn Daisey's Obituary
Gail Horn Daisey, age 56, of Lewes, DE, passed away peacefully at her sister's residence on Thursday, June 18, 2009, with her loving family by her side. She was born October 26, 1952 in Wilmington, DE, daughter of Harold V. Horn and Jean (Thompson) Horn, both of Wilmington.
Ms. Daisey was a registered nurse with over 33 years service at Beebe Medical Center where she worked until three weeks ago when her health forced her to stay home. She loved the beach, traveling, family and friends. She was most proud of her daughters and their families. She will be remembered for her incredible work ethic, meticulous cleanliness and never having met a stain she couldn't remove.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two daughters, Heather Morgan and her husband Tim of Dover, TN and Shannon Cos and her husband Matt of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren: Colten and Kaitlyn Morgan and a granddaughter-to-be, Matison Gail Cos; three sisters: Nancy Cirelli and her husband Bob of Lewes, Fawn Freeman and her husband Paul of Clifton, VA and Kim Ogorek and husband Pat of Bear, DE; and her fat cat Sam.
Funeral services with the Rev. Garath Tonnessen officiating will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Pilottown Road, Lewes. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening, June 22, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the New Covenant Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 19331 Lighthouse Plaza, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 or to Tunnell Cancer Center, 424 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
