I teared up a bit today learning about the passing of Commander Fred Lynch. He was a frequent caller during my show on WGMD, and I had lots of respect for him. Entertaining and whenever he called in, I let him talk for as long as I could. He invited me to a San Diego Chargers game this season and sadly, that didn't happen. Wish I could have spent that time with him before he passed. Rest in peace, Commander. Heaven gained one heck of a pilot.
My thoughts and prayers to the family of LCDR Lynch. I had the extreme pleasure and honor to care for him during his illness. What a gentleman!
