Frederick J. Fessenbecker's Obituary
Frederick J. Fessenbecker , age 91, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, June 18, 2012, at his residence. He was born in West Chester, PA, on Sunday, January 09, 1921, son of the late George and Martha (Otter) Fessenbecker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Frederick J. Fessenbecker in 1995, two brothers, William and George Fessenbecker and one sister, Mildred Fessenbecker.
Mr. Fessenbecker retired to Rehoboth in 1997 from West Chester, PA. where he worked as a Quality Control Manager for the Boeing Defense and Space Group in Essington, PA for 19 years. He was an honorable discharged veteran of WWII, serving in Army, a 62 year Mason, Knights of Malta, Loyal Order of the Moose and a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church all of West Chester, PA. He was also a professional poet.

After retiring to Rehoboth Beach, he became a member of the Church of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Rehoboth Beach and the American Legion Post # 28, Oak Orchard.
Mr. Fessenbecker is survived by his wife of 48 years, Roberta (Parke) Fessenbecker of Rehoboth Beach, DE, son, Ernest Jay Fessenbecker of Lewes, DE one daughter, Eleanor Barnes of Ft. Lauderale, FL, and son, David Welsh and Francine of Atlantic City, NJ. four grandchildren, William, Mary,Johnny and Rachel, two great grandchildren, Sara and Melissa Barnes and two sisters, Frieda Fessenbecker-Wesson and Mariann Bean, both of West Chester, PA.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 11:00 AM at Calvary Lutheran Church, 730 S. New Street, West Chester, PA, 19382. The family will greet friends a the church beginning at 9:30 AM. The West Chester AF&M, Lodge # 322 will hold a Masonic Service at the Church. Interment will be follow at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazier, PA.
