Our memory is of a beautiful family, Fred, Tina, Lee and Alex. Our children have grown up side by side and whenever our paths have crossed over the years, the Downs were always there - friends with a smile and always a kind word. Fred was a positive role model for many of the boys in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, including my own son. His impact of knowledge and kindness on the youth in our community is something that remains and continues on.

The Dockety family shares in your sadness, as we considered Fred, a good friend.

We have had the pleasure of spending time with both families over the years as well as watching Lee and Alex grow up along with Taylor.

It was just last year at this time, that I was hanging out with Tina and Fred in Cuba... a professional development trip for the college. That was an amazing time and Fred was our "cigar" guru and helped everyone who was purchasing them to get just the right ones.

I also know Fred from the Human Resources profession and will miss those conversations we shared over the years.

Rest in Peace, Fred and to the families, please know you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

I only knew Fred for about a year, he hired me to be the admin and Micro Tube. In that time I grew to like and respect Fred very much. He was such a nice guy and he had more faith and confidence in my abilities than I did. I remember when Micro Tube was finally sold to Wytech Fred told me he gave them such a good recommendation of me that I could run for governor, lol. I'll never forget the sound of his voice when he called the office, he would say "how are you young lady, it's Fred", every time, it made me smile. I can't believe he's gone. My heart goes out to his family.

Peace be Thy Soul "Boss Man".
Fred and I worked together at Allen's Family Foods as he was my supervisor. As he always called me "Boss Lady" and I called him "Boss Man". Life is, indeed, short and must cherish every minute of it. My prayers and thoughts are with the Family.

Fred and I worked together at MBank and American Express. We commuted together to work from PA to DE. I remember his love for the Camaro and his family. I have great memories of his friendship and our years from working together. I will miss him.
