With profound sadness we announce the passing of Freda E. Hudson Burton, on July 26, 2021, after a long illness. A native of Lewes, she was born in Beebe Hospital on March 5, 1937, daughter of the late Richard T. Hudson Sr. and My Read Obituary
Sincere condolences to the entire Burton family for the recent loss of your mother. Many great moms of CHHS (1973) graduates have been lost in these past few years. Many fond memories at Freda's house with Chris during our high school years.

My sincere sympathy to all of Frieda's family. Frieda hired me to babysit during my LHS years - she had only 3 children at that time. She was always friendly and nice to everyone - a good soul. She knew my family and was kind enough to attend many of our funerals. She supported all things Lewes and Sussex County and was always happy to lend a helping hand. I remember walking up from my grandparents house to hers and she always had fresh zucchini bread for me. It was my absolute favorite. She always treated me like one of her grandchildren. Sending my love to the family. She will be deeply missed.
Aunt Freda was a beloved Sister to my mother and a wonderful Aunt to me and all my siblings. I will always remember our visits to Delaware knowing we would see her and our cousin’s.
Freda loved to share stories of when they were growing up and family history.
Aunt Freda I hope you have a fabulous reunion with all those that went before you.
