Praying for all the Herringtons!
I know what a great and wonderful man Grandpa was because he raised and taught so excellently a wonderful daughter who graciously stepped in to raise and teach me. I am so thankful for both his and her influence in my life.
Dad I'm going to miss all the great times we had! There aren't to many girls that can say they've been jug fishing, crabbing, clamming, and most of all hunting was on my favorites! Thank you for always teaching us girls all that you have!!! I will miss you forever!!!

We will so miss seeing and chatting with Fred as he cared for the house next door. He seemed to love taking care of the plants, especially the lilacs and forsythia. Please accept our condolences.
Words hard to describe the way I felt about my grampa, but I will try best I can. If I had a role model it was him, he did everything successfully . Provided a great existence for his family ,loved them all . Stood behind us all ,gave us his good opinion if we'd ask. Taught many good life lessons if u'ld listen. He was a hoot! All my best childhood memories included him and gramma .He was my best idea of a father figure. Oooo how he will be missed. Best man I've ever known!
What a blessing it was to be welcomed into this family as a young child. Summer visits were cherished, and I still hold those memories dear. Grandpa's sense of humor was bold and kept each moment lively. I am thankful for the times spent with him and all that he passed along from wisdom, to putting out crab traps, and how to just sit back and enjoy the scenery. He is missed.
Passing time will never dim the wonderful years I had with my father. He taught me to love nature and the great outdoors. He was a storyteller that kept me listening to each word. I will miss you Dad!
Grampa, I love you and I'll miss you. I will always remember the things that you taught me. You were the best man I've ever known. You took time to do with me as much as you could.you were a good provider, a great father, a loyal husband, and an awesome Grandfather.I will always remember crabbing, clamming, and fishing with you. You taught me how to drive, and I've got so many great memories of us that I'll carry with me forever! I'll never forget what you mean to me.
