Frank George Soderberg's Obituary
Frank George Soderberg, age 80 of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away at home on Saturday, July 30, 2022. He was born on March 3, 1942, in Baltimore, MD, son of the late Frank J. Soderberg and Thelma Anna (Thelen) Soderberg.
Mr. Soderberg, a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers’ Union Local 100, made a career as a sheet metal draftsman. He loved everything coastal living had to offer including fishing, crabbing, strolling on the boardwalk, and dining at his favorite restaurants.
An avid deer hunter with rifle, muzzleloader, and crossbow, Mr. Soderberg was always at the ready with his pocket knife and his smile. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he cherished spending time with family and was always up for a party. He will be deeply missed by all.
Mr. Soderberg is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley E. Soderberg of Rehoboth Beach, DE; his sons, Frank J. Soderberg (Kim) of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Daniel Soderberg (Llara Seifert) of Mount Wolf, PA; his daughter, Sherrie Strecker (Bill) of Parkville, MD; and his grandchildren, Brandon of Baltimore, MD, Shannon of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Greyson and Luella Soderberg, and Addilyne, Finnley, and Silas Seifert of Mount Wolf, PA.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 2:00 PM.
