Frank Milton Reinoehl's Obituary
Frank Milton Reinoehl, age 78, of Milton, DE passed away after a long battle with heart disease on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Genesis Healthcare in Milford, DE. He was born on November 7, 1937 in Jasper, TX, son of the late Gorden Cairnes and Jewel (McClain) Reinoehl.
Mr. Reinoehl proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, he entered into a career in law enforcement and accepted a position with Aston Township Police Department in Pennsylvania. Mr. Reinoehl left the department as an active Police Chief and was hired by DuPont as a Security Specialist until he retired.
During his spare time, he loved fishing on the Delaware waters and gardening in his bountiful garden.
Mr. Reinoehl will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Reinoehl was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Reinoehl. He is survived by his son, Frank G. Reinoehl; a daughter, Kim Layfield; two granddaughters, Samantha Randazzo and Madison Layfield; a grandson, Steven Reinoehl; a brother, Norman Reinoehl and his wife Jean; a nephew, Clay Reinoehl and a niece, Norma Jean Weidley.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at 10:00 AM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call beginning at 9:00 AM. Burial with Military Honors will follow the services at 11:00 AM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Reinoehl's memory to the Cheer Center, 13275 Reynolds Road, Milton, DE 19968.
