Frank Ronald Moceri, a man whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of many. Born on August 11, 1933, in Trenton, New Jersey, Frank's journey through life was one marked by love, passion. He passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024, in Lewes, Delaware,
Frank was predeceased by his parents, John Moceri and Elizabeth Dematteo, his wife Theresa Fabrizio Moceri, his brothers John and James Moceri, his sister Josephine Hartmann Wiley, and his son Stephen Hickey. His spirit is carried on by his devoted spouse, Shirley Hickey, with whom he shared a profound and enduring love. Shirley, his "Beloved little girl Panda," was the light of his life.
Frank's legacy continues through his children, Frank Moceri and his wife Rose of Florence, New Jersey; Michael Moceri and his wife Connie of Hamilton, New Jersey; Thomas Hickey and his partner Alexei Birykoff of East Vandergrift, Pennsylvania; and Karin Delpercio and her husband John of Laurel Springs, New Jersey. His grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life, include Frank Moceri (Kaitlyn) of Fair Lawn, NJ, Matthew Moceri (Kelly) of Morgantown, WV, Michael Moceri Jr. (Kara) of Howell, NJ, Marc Moceri of Hamilton, NJ, Hailey and Johnny Delpercio of Laurel Springs, NJ, and Nicholas Makropolous of Bellmar, NJ., along with his great-grandchildren Leonardo, Lilah, Logan, Gavin, Makenna, Walker, Collin, and Dallas, will forever hold onto the lessons and love he imparted.
A man of many interests, Frank was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants, his enthusiasm for the games as infectious as his smile. His weekly poker games with the Nassau Grove Poker Team were legendary, and he was known for always walking away with winnings, a testament to his strategic mind and good humor.
Frank's culinary skills earned him the affectionate title of Chef, as he found joy in preparing gourmet meals for family and friends. His kitchen was a place of gathering, laughter, and the creation of delicious memories.
He also found solace on the golf course, where the green fairways and the gentle swing of the club were a source of relaxation and pleasure.
Frank's sister-in-law Marie Moceri, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, will remember him as a loving, kind, and friendly soul who made the world a better place simply by being in it.
Frank Ronald Moceri, a true gentleman and a cherished presence, will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
