Frank Nicolas Middledorf's Obituary
Frank N. Middledorf, 64 of Millsboro, Delaware passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at his home. He was born on Saturday, November 15, 1952 in Cheverly, Maryland, son of the late Fred and Tina (Barbitta) Middledorf.
Mr. Middledorf was a man of unparalleled work ethic, dedicating years to the May Corporation, for which he worked. In his younger years, he played baseball; so well, in fact, that he nearly made its professional ranks, until an injury prevented him from furthering a career in America's Past Time. Mr. Middledorf was an avid golfer, hitting the links at every opportunity, and casting a line as a recreational fisherman, as well. He most treasured, however, the time spent with his cherished family and friends. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, step-father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Middledorf was preceded in death by his brother, Kirk Middledorf. He is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Judith (Jervis) Middledorf; his daughters: Lisa Middledorf of Salisbury, MD and Angel Praisner of Fulton, MD; his step-son, Mark Wolf of Columbus, OH; his brothers: Fred Middledorf of Bowie, MD and Cary Middledorf of Millsboro, DE; and his five grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 3:00 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call beginning at 2:00 PM.
